Daisy had a little lamb...

Daisy loves her lamb that her Grandma Doug and Grandpa Vickey from Florida sent her! They also sent an awesome inside camping set, which she'll unwrap on Christmas. She's going to adore it! Thank you, Doug and Vickey! We love you and miss you! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Here are some pictures of Daisy decorating the Christmas tree this year. I'm not sure why, but in the slideshow some of the pictures seem really washed out. I hope you enjoy it anyway! Daisy had a blast decorating the tree for her first time ever.

A Daisy at the Beach!

My lovely friend Beckah, who is a great photographer, agreed to take some pictures of Daisy at the beach. They turned out wonderfully! Daisy was a natural in front of the camera, which was a surprise because at our last family photo shoot she would not smile at all! I guess Beckah made her feel at ease.

Here's our little star! Enjoy the pictures!

Summertime Daisy

It has been brought to my attention by mom and Tammy that I have not updated Daisy's little website lately. To be honest, I completely forgot about it!
This summer we have stayed busy even though the Crescent City weather's been pretty lousy. We joined a playgroup that meets weekly, and Daisy always has fun playing with her new friends. On the days that it's not raining, we head to the park where Daisy loves to swing! Everyone has been remarking lately that Daisy is growing like a weed. I guess she'll be tall like her parents! :0) Enjoy the pictures!

Daisy's Almost Two!

My baby girl has been alive for almost two full years. That is so amazing to me. Since she went from a baby baby to a toddler, I have really been enjoying her. God has blessed Toby and I with the most perfect little angel. She is independent and playful, intelligent and inquisitive. She tests my patience every day, and she helps me try to be a better person. I am so thankful that I gave motherhood a chance, because it has been so rewarding and lovely. Thank you, Daisy Lillian, for giving my life more meaning than I ever thought possible.

February Slideshow

Daisy is a sicky pooh today. Please pray that she gets better soon! She doesn't seem to feel too terribly but she's throwing up and has diarrhea. Poor thing! She's napping right now, and I plan to let her sleep as long as she wants.

We just got back from an overnight trip to see grandma and grandpa in Grants Pass. She loves those two.

Enjoy these pictures from February 2008!

Daisy the Great

No new pics today, but I wanted to give a little update on Daisy. She is doing just great! Her language skills are exploding lately. She can repeat pretty much any word you give her, and she is saying two word phrases pretty often. She can name most of her favorite foods, and she understands when I ask her to do something (such as "Hand Madi a piece of bread," or "Go get a diaper!"). She is still saying please, thank you, and now she's even saying "Sorry, mommy." It's so cute.

And yes, her hair is still red and curly!
